Diwali is festival of achievements . its festival of lights . it announces that together, if we all try as team or family will achieve not only materialistic goods but also spiritual blessings and prakash ( lights ) even in darkest nights. Its day of marking winning of truth, lights, richness, harmony, love, over darkness, kam, krodh, madh, ahankar, lobh, moh, poverty and evil acts . joh dhyave phaal pave, dukh bense man ka, sukh sampati ghar ave, kasht mete tan ka. We will get all good things money, health, wealth, peace, happiness and joy, but condition will only one, joh dhyaye ( who will put his or her efforts ) .

 

All Indians learn fron day 01. joy dhyave, mean we have to work hard ( karma karma and karma) and see the difference if we work for commitment, I guarantee that chances are remote that we are trapped. On the other hand if we work for greed (to make money or outperform compare to others), we may win in short run, but in long run by sure we are going to be trapped the way lehman brothers or all other financial institutes are been trapped today. Its all American and European countries are under debt trap. Even many Indian real estate companies are also not an exception : greed drived them to take exposure which was beyond their real valuation. A company of 100 crore reached to 10000 crore by higher value of stocks only. Banks offered them huge loans , now same banks are squaring their stocks in open market. Moral of the story is work for commitment but not huge profits. Profits will follow at its own and that also without high risks. We must drive our car with in the speed we can control. Driving car in hilly areas or heights ( sensex at 21000 ) is very risky we do not slow down, later we might not be in condition to drive fast in plains ( sensex at 7500 ).

                

Lord KRISHNA preached in BHAGWAT GITA , do karma for commitment , but not for wishes of fruits ( out come ), results . today recession in most of the countries have once again proved HIS school of thought.

 

When we ask any Indian ,” why you earn”. Reply is for rainy days . if same question is asked to any citizen of a developed country reply is “ for picnic days”. Today India is safe because of HABIT OF SAVINGS . This is massage to new generation , do not over spend ( I am saying only do not OVER spend ). ENJOY LIFE happily . time will not come AGAIN . Crude is trading @ $89, falling continuously for the fourth day. Europe is the 2^nd domino after US showing weakness of their financial systems. Bail out package or no package, sentiments are very weak in states. All the governments are trying harder and harder to reduce the fear of investors, but sentiments are very weak. Number of crocodiles are increasing in river. Europe’s Stoxx 600 sank 7.6 percent, the biggest decline since the October 1987 stock market crash, sentiments are very weak. CRR cut or no cut, sentiments are very weak.  Indian capital regulators lifted curbs on FIIs, imposed an year ago, to attract more foreign investors now. Curbs were imposed to control the appreciation of Indian currency at that time. From there Indian currency have depreciated by almost 18%. SEBI decision is welcomed at this time, but sentiments are very weak. Our Finance Minister is hopeful of 9% growth in next financial year, ending march 31^st , 2010. if buying emerges today reason will be only one and that’s over sold position, rest all is gup shup.

Durga puja is the most important festival for the people of West Bengal. This festival is celebrated all over India, though with differing rituals.

In Bengal, it is the most awaited festival of the entire year and is celebrated over four days. It is believed that goddess Durga leaves her husband’s residence in Kailash to visit her father Himalaya’s home with her children Lakshmi, Saraswati, Ganesh and Kartik during this period.

The festival is also called Navratri in some parts of the country and is celebrated over nine days.

Though it is mainly a Bengali festival, in North India, it is characterised by fasts and solemnity. In western India, it is marked by gaiety and the traditional dandiya and garba dances.

In the south, pujas are offered separately for three days to each of the three goddesses, Durga, Saraswati and Lakshmi. In Tamil Nadu, it is called ‘Ayudha Pooja’

In West Bengal, the most attractive part of the celebrations are the puja mandaps, which are brightly colored, gaily decorated and bursting at seams with devotees assembled to catch a glimpse of their favourite goddess. If there is a place in India to visit during Durga Puja, it is Kolkata. More than 20,000 mandaps will be set up in the city and tourists flock to the city during this time.

Best news of the day is RBI asked to cut lending rates and boost liquidity BY Assocham. this statement is really close to my heart. In my write up on banking again and again I have requested only one point to RBI governor ,” do what ever you want but do not let interest rates to move in northward direction. Adjustment in CRR , REPO RATES AND EVEN REVERSE REPO RATE is ok but hike in interest rate dent from all corners, not only manufacturing sector but to consumers also. Lenders are also not benefited out of it in long run. Chances of lower commitments to loans and 2^nd  chances of defaults also increases.  I really want to wish many many greatings to Assocham In its recommendation, the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (Assocham) has requested RBI to permit banks to borrow against government securities and provide dollars directly to oil companies, rather than routing them through the market for buying crude. I hope RBI governor will listen and react fast.
